Econazole

This medication is for vaginal use only. It is usually used once a day at bedtime for 3 consecutive days. To use the suppository, place one into the applicator provided. While lying down, insert the applicator high into the vagina. Clean the applicator with warm soapy water and rinse well. A detailed instruction sheet should be provided with the medication. Review the instructions and be sure to ask your health care professional if you have any questions. Continue using this medication for as long as prescribed to ensure the infection is cleared. Stopping therapy too soon may result in a re-infection. Notify your doctor if it appears the infection has not cleared after 3 days.

Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and light.
